Bishop Weeks Is Consecrated

Bishop Weeks said, "The Consecration August 24 in Trinity Cathedral, Kampala, UGANDA, was glorious. Fifteen bishops, approximately 100 clergy and over 600 people packed the cathedral for the five and a half hour service. After one week, I am still numb. Following the Consecration we went to Rwanda and Burundi. In Rwanda I ordained 30 deacons to the priesthood [Archbishop Howard was with me and ordained 32 deacons to the priesthood] and in Burundi I ordained 14 men as deacons, 3 as priests and "re-ordered" three priests from the Anglican Church. That totaled 50 ordinations in the first week of my episcopacy. I wonder if it is a record."
